1933 Bugatti Type 55 & 1936 Bugatti Type 57

For the past two years we've had the opportunity to collaborate with Sargent Metal Works on the restoration of these two magnificent Bugattis.

In 2024 we did the bodywork and paint on the 1933 Type 55 — one of just 12 built, an excellent example with matching numbers and an original body. It ended up in the winner's circle at Pebble Beach in 2024 after winning the J3 class.

In 2025 we did the bodywork and paint on the 1936 Type 57 roll-top coupe, one of only 3 examples known to be in the country. It went to Pebble Beach and took second place in its class and won the Most Elegant Closed Car award. It then went on to The Audrain Concours, where it again took second in class and received the Founders Choice award.

Vintage Bronco · Restomod

1972 Bronco Sport

A ground-up vintage Bronco build — the kind of project the shop has become known for. Metal, drivetrain, paint and wiring, all handled in-house.

Vintage Bronco · Half Cab

1969 Half Cab Bronco

The rarer body style of the early Bronco line — a 1969 Half Cab brought back with the same standard as everything else in the building.

Restomod · Modern Drivetrain Swap

1972 Blazer LS Swap

Classic K5 Blazer body, modern LS power underneath — a restomod built to be driven, with the drivetrain swap engineered and wired in-house.

Hot Rod · Street Rod Build

1939 Chevy Pickup Street Rod

A prewar Chevy pickup reborn as a street rod — custom fabrication, engine work and show-quality finish from one shop floor.

Complete Restoration

MGB

A complete MGB restoration — the project behind one of the shop's happiest owners. In Phil H.'s words: "amazing attention to detail, historical knowledge of the car and quality craftsmanship."

Custom Build

'41 Ford

A 1941 Ford custom — period presence with the fit, finish and reliability of a modern build.

Restoration · Prewar & Air-Cooled

Type 49 Bugatti & Super Beetle

The range in one entry: a prewar Bugatti Type 49 and a Volkswagen Super Beetle, side by side on the same shop floor — proof that one standard applies whether the car is worth seven figures or is simply worth everything to its owner.
